  1. In response to the DNA SYNTHESIS ...
We students are in for it we are sit(ing) study(ing) monster eat(ing) sleep(ing) and Monster Anthropology.
Although when rearranged it makes more sense AS IS:
WE STUDENTS ARE IN FOR IT WE ARE SITTING, STUDYING,
    EATING, SLEEPING, AND ANTHROPOLOGY.

  2. Jose Serrano: You were so close! Actually it stands for:

"We students are in for it; we are study monsters, eating, sleeping, and dreaming Anthropology."

    Great job!

  3. I actually came up with the same thing Jose did. There is a mutation in the word that was supposed to code for "dream" (CAA). It ended up being ACC, which codes for "monster".

Otherwise, good code and good decode. I've included my decode below for reference. I've put *'s around the mutation in the DNA and RNA.

    DNA: CTACGCACTCCTGAACTACCACTAAGAGAAAAAGACTCACGAGGGTGGCTGGGTCGTAAGT*TGG*TTGATCAGGCTTTCAGCTAGCTATACGA
    RNA: GAUGCGUGAGGACUUGAUGGUGAUUCUCUUUUUCUGAGUGCUCCCACCGACCCAGCAUUCA*ACC*AACUAGUCCGAAAGUCGAUCGAUAUGCU
Breakdown: AUG GUG AUU CUC UUU UUC UGA GUG CUC CCA CCG ACC CAG CAU UCA *ACC* AAC UAG
(start) We students are in for it. We are sit(ting), study(ing) monster(s) eat(ing) sleep(ing) and *monster* anthropology. (stop)

  4. Kohl, could you see if you can reformat your comments font? Much too big, especially for longer comments like mine. The font type is okay but it needs to be much, MUCH smaller. Thank you.

    1. Hey Professor Rodriguez,

I reformatted. Sorry for the inconvenience. I reduced the font by half.

      Thank you so much,
      Cohl Klop
